VP, Ecommerce & Digital Marketing On-site | hybrid

Job Overview
 

As a member of the leadership team, VP, Ecommerce and Digital Marketing will report to the CMO & CEO. They will be responsible for developing and accelerating marketing and eCommerce strategic growth, leading digital marketing initiatives, and creating top-notch digital consumer experience.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a fast-growing organization with experience in DTC.

 

Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Develop ecommerce and digital performance marketing strategies.

  • Implement marketing plans and programs that are consistent with the brand and traditional marketing activities. 

  • Work with senior leadership analyzing, planning, and executing business plans. 

  • Analyze and maintain knowledge of ecommerce trends to target competition.

  • Monitor the market and competition while developing and executing strategies to increase market share. 

  • Provide strategic development around SEO, paid social media and email marketing.

  • Lead team and product launches to ensure accelerated revenue growth. 

  • Provide data and analysis to direct reports in the performance of their duties.

  • Work with team members to establish work priorities and achieve company goals. 

  • Develop customer retention strategies.

  • Increase new customer revenue by developing and effectively executing digital sales and marketing strategies. 

  • Maintain PNL management.

  • Develop, communicate, and manage vendors and agencies by establishing a strong strategic partnership while having the ability to negotiate contracts. 

  • Develop, lead and mentor an ecommerce team by setting performance goals, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring all necessary tools for a top performing team.

  • Oversee website product design ensuring it is user-friendly while constantly improving DTC conversion rates. 

  • Regularly analyze and implement new technologies working directly with the Creative team on improving customer experience on the website.

Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Minimum education: bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in ecommerce digital marketing.

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.

  • Negotiation skills in managing vendors and agencies.

  • Well versed in SEO, paid social media and email marketing.

  • Ability to analyze market trends and bring forth new ideas to create business strategies.

  • Analytical thinker with a business model skill set to accelerate growth across the digital space.

  • Proven track record building and maintaining productive team members.

  • Strong background with Shopify.
