Sales Account Manager

Job Overview
 

The ideal candidate for this position is an ambitious self-starter with a passion for the beauty and haircare industry with a clear demonstration of past success working with major distributors. The chosen individual will be an efficient, multi-tasker with the ability to translate business objectives into projects with minimal direction.

 

Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with major distributors.

  • Implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and margin goals with distributors.

  • Communicate with distributors on promotional briefs, new product launches, prices, orders, credits, and sales support.

  • Implement action plans that focus on best sellers and identify deficient areas.

  • Prepare presentations to support continuous relationships, products, and new business development.

  • Conduct cold and warm calls.

  • Conduct sales meetings via Zoom and in-person.

  • Travel to quarterly company meetings and tradeshows.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in wet haircare.

  • Experience managing large distributors.

  • Professional haircare experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven track record of success being efficient and effective.
