Sales Manager– (Law Enforcement Supplies)


Territory – New Jersey/Delaware/Maryland

Headquartered in New Jersey, a leader in law enforcement supplies that provides superior American-made ammunition, simunition, firearms, and tactical gear to law enforcement agencies in the Northeast.  Expanding their offerings with a diverse range of cutting-edge products tailored to the dynamic demands of law enforcement.  Striving to build meaningful connections, aiming to facilitate comprehensive strategic planning, for both current and future law enforcement operational needs. 


Position Overview:

The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in strategically developing, planning, and implementing sales plans to successfully drive sales and revenue growth. This role will identify new business opportunities, present bids, and build strong long-lasting customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be well-connected within law enforcement agencies located in New Jersey, Delaware, and/or Mayland.


Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales and revenue growth targets within the assigned territory.

·       Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in law enforcement agencies. 

·       Develop and provide informative sales presentations, in-person and virtual product demos, proposals and bids.

·       Leverage lead generation through marketing, inside and outside sales to aggressively attract potential customers. 

·       Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. 

·       Respond to customer inquiries from the company website, social media, phone calls, and emails.

·       Manage and report activity and sales to the owner.

·       Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and effectively communicate products to the customers.

 

Required Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent law enforcement background in New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland.

·       Proven track record of success in sales (preferably in law enforcement supplies) and customer relations.

·       Accurate understanding of ammunition, simunition, and firearms. 

·       Comprehensive understanding of law enforcement, military, and public safety environments.

·       Thorough knowledge of preparing and presenting Sales Proposals and Bids.

·       Proven track record of success in closing deals.

·       Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and passion for sales (hunter mentality)

·       Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

·       Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.

·       Ability to travel in the Northeast.

·       Reside in or near New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland, with the flexibility to travel within these regions.

 

Additional Details:

·       Competitive base salary plus commission

·       Hybrid with the ability to travel to the headquarters located in Southern New Jersey.
