Maintenance Technician / Make-Ready Specialist – Luxury Apartment Community

Location: Saint Petersburg, Florida

Position Overview:

A professionally managed luxury residential community in beautiful Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Make-Ready Specialist to join its team.

This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, values a well-maintained property, and enjoys providing excellent service to residents. You will play an important role in ensuring apartment homes are move-in ready and that the community continues to operate at the high standards expected in a luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete apartment make-ready turns, including painting, drywall repair, appliance checks, and minor plumbing and electrical work.

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.

• Assist with preventative maintenance programs and routine inspections.

• Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property, including common areas and grounds.

• Work with vendors and contractors when needed.

• Deliver resident-focused service while maintaining the standards of a luxury community.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in apartment maintenance, multifamily maintenance, or make-ready roles.

• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, painting, and basic carpentry.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and within a team.

• Participation in an on-call maintenance rotation may be required.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Ability to clear criminal background check.

• EPA certification or HVAC experience is a plus.
