Position Title:     Independent Contractor – Paid Media Specialist (Google, Bing, Meta)


Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Paid Media Specialist to provide independent contractor services supporting paid search and paid media initiatives across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. The contractor will deliver execution and optimization services focused on driving qualified traffic to Amazon using attribution-based and keyword-driven strategies.

This engagement is best suited for a professional who operates independently, manages their own workflow, and brings hands-on expertise in performance marketing and paid media optimization. Experience with Amazon-related traffic strategies is highly valued; Meta Ads experience is a plus.

This is a services-based contractor engagement, not an employment role.


Scope of Services:

Paid Search & Media Services

  • Independently set up, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads

  • Build and manage Amazon Attribution campaigns to evaluate off-Amazon traffic performance.

·        Manually create Amazon Attribution tags and embed them within Google/Bing campaigns.

  • Conduct keyword research across Google and Amazon platforms

  • Deep Product Immersion, researching the company’s products to identify the exact pain points they solve.

  • Intent-Based Ad Copy, write ad copy that mirrors the specific intent of the searcher (e.g., matching a “problem” keyword with a “solution” headline).

  • Make bid, budget, and optimization adjustments based on performance objectives

  • Develop and test ad copy to improve CTR and conversion performance

 

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities

  • Align media spend with agreed-upon budget targets

  • Provide performance reports covering key metrics (e.g., spend, ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversions)

  • Non-automated Reporting, weekly and monthly reporting. Manually pulling data from Google and Amazon to build a unified view of Spend vs. Profit. Explaining why a ROAS dropped.

  • Maintain organized campaign structures, naming conventions, and documentation

Cross-Platform Support (As Needed)

  • Support traffic-driving initiatives to Amazon storefronts and listings

  • Collaborate asynchronously with internal stakeholders on paid media initiatives

  • Assist with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads execution and optimization, when applicable

 

Required Qualifications:

·       Ability to scale profitable sales by connecting Google/Bing data to Amazon conversion metrics through the Amazon Attribution console.

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns

  • Experience with Microsoft Ads (Bing) or the ability to independently upskill

  • Strong understanding of paid search fundamentals (keywords, bids, budgets, match types)

  • Experience with Amazon keyword research and/or external traffic strategies

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to independently manage multiple campaigns and priorities

  • Strong understanding how to use the “Final URL Suffix” to ensure no data is lost.

  • Ability to distinguish between “browsing” keyword and “buying” keyword.

  • Strong written English communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Amazon Attribution

  • Experience with Amazon Ads

  • Experience with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads

  • Background supporting eCommerce or Amazon-focused brands

  • Experience collaborating with US-based clients or team

 

Engagement Structure & Success Criteria

  • Services are delivered on a project and performance basis, with agreed-upon deliverables

  • Success is measured by:

    • Ongoing optimization and campaign maintenance

    • Timely and accurate reporting

    • Continuous performance improvements and efficiency gains

    • Proactive communication regarding results, risks, and opportunities

Additional Information:
  • Independent contractor engagement

  • Fully remote

  • Contractors maintain control over how and when services are performed

  • Ability to collaborate asynchronously, with periodic overlap with US (EST) business hours as needed

  • Strong English communication required; Spanish or Portuguese proficiency is a plus

  • Compensation paid in USD on a contract basis
