Position Title: Head of Growth Marketing
Position Overview:
In this impactful leadership role, reporting to the CEO, we are looking for a high-level, innovative, data-driven decision maker with a proven background in growth strategy, customer acquisition & retention, and budget management. The ideal candidate will be collaborative with strong team leadership & development background. This role will require a background in the CPG industry.
Objectives and Responsibilities:
• Develop test plans to gather critical insights for constant funnel Improvement.
• Lead the creation of growth plans to specific business goals.
• Drive significant increases in customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue through developing and implementing data-driven growth marketing strategies.
• Ensure the team delivers results by setting and managing growth targets.
• Establish and manage 3rd party relationships with vendors, ad agencies, and other partners.
• Design and execute customer acquisition strategies across multiple channels such as pd media, SEO, content marketing, social media, email marketing, influencer marketing, etc.
• Optimize the sales funnel to drive higher conversion rates, leveraging customer insights to continually improve lead-to-customer conversion.
• Develop and oversee retention campaigns to enhance customer lifetime value (LTV) by improving repeat purchases, engagement, and overall customer experience. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust tactics accordingly.
• Use A/B testing, cohort analysis, and user behavior data to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies.
• Implement data collection and analytics systems to track and improve campaign performance, while ensuring proper reporting to leadership. Work closely with the product team to integrate product features into marketing campaigns and drive user growth through product enhancements.
• Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure customer feedback is integrated into marketing strategies and to improve the customer journey.
• Partner with the sales team to align marketing campaigns with sales objectives and to develop lead generation strategies. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of growth marketers, data analysts, and creatives, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement team training and development plans to ensure the growth and success of each team member.
• Provide direction and support to ensure marketing activities are aligned with the overall company growth strategy.
• Use project management tools to organize resources and track progress and ensure effective stakeholder communication. Continuously test new growth marketing channels, strategies, and tactics to identify high-impact opportunities (growth hacking).
• Stay up to date with industry trends, new marketing technologies, and emerging channels to ensure the company is leveraging the latest techniques and tools. Manage the marketing budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources across channels.
• Continuously assess ROI and adjust spending to maximize performance and reach business goals.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or a related field within eCommerce.
• Strong analytical skill set with a deep understanding of marketing analytics and performance metrics.
• Extensive experience in paid media, SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, SM, and affiliate marketing.
• Experience with growth hacking techniques and driving rapid user acquisition, virality, and product-driven growth.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of growing, managing and mentoring teams.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative marketing initiatives and drive growth.
• Proficiency with marketing automation tools, CRM Systems, analytics platforms, and A/B testing tools.
